About the Gold Coast Power Boat & Sports Club

The Gold Coast Power Boat & Sports Club began in the late 70s and has conducted power boat racing at several venues over the years, including Marine Stadium on the Gold Coast, Gold Coast Broadwater and Coomera River at Coomera.  Over the past five years GCPBSC conducted and organised Lockyer Powerfest at Lake Dyer, Laidley.  2016 will see the inaugural running of Gold Coast Liquid Lightning at Marine Stadium, The Spit, Main Beach, Gold Coast.

The Gold Coast Power Boat & Sports Club Inc (GCPBSC Inc) is a club affiliated with the Australian Power Boat Association (APBA). The APBA is the recognised national sporting association for power boat racing in Australia and is, in turn, affiliated with the Union of International Motor boating (UIM), the international governing body of power boating, recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
